Peter Seller's lost two films "Insomnia is Good for You" and "Dearth of a Salesman" were 4k restored at Akin Telesine Istanbul.

These two films are 1957 British short comedy films directed by Leslie Arliss and starring Peter Sellers. They were produced and released by Park Lane Films, and written by Lewis Griefer and Mordecai Richler. As of December 2012, these films were considered lost by rare book and script collector and actor Neil Pearson, with no cast list (apart from Sellers), script or footage known to exist. Nevertheless, a copy had been found in 1996, in a skip outside the offices of the film company.
Films were scanned at Itv and restored at Akin Telesine Istanbul in 4k resolution. We are so proud to be part of this..

One of the most popular ballets in the world, Bolshoi Ballet Series' films were restored at Akin Telesine. These archive films consists 2K scanned footages of 35mm inter-negative films from early 80's. The project was realized with the partnership of Cine Image UK and Akın Telesine London.
Ziraat Bank's 350 hours of film archive was scanned & restored

We are proud to preserve one of the big cultural and historical heritage from the biggest bank in Turkey, Ziraat Bank that was founded in 1863. Their film archive consist 35mm and 16mm negative and positive films. First of all, films are cleaned by our ultrasonic film cleaner, then scanned & restored in 2K, finally color graded and mastered in HD.

8 Hours of Nitrate Film from İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Film Archive were restored at Akin Telesine

The restoration process of nitrate film archive was so important and critical for us, because these films reflects all historical, political and social aspects of Turkey in 1936, but these films were not well preserved until today and also the burn possibility of these nitrate films made this process so dangerous.
After a dense laboratory cleaning and preparation process , films were scanned, restored and color graded in 2K resolution.
Nuri Bilge Ceylan's films were restored at Akın Telesine

Award winning director Nuri Bilge Ceylan chose Akin Telesine for restoration of his films Kasaba, Uzak, Mayıs Sıkıntısı and Koza.
Films are scanned on 4K logaritmic space and restored in 4K resolution in order to preserve all details and quality for digital cinema.
These four films will be presented as a part of Nuri Bilge Ceylan retrospective at MOMA Film Exhibitions New York , Walker Art Museum Mineapolis and British Film Institute London.
Restored movie "Gelin" was selected to 71st Venice Film Festival

After restored at Akın Telesine, Omer Lutfi Akad's classic "Gelin" feature film was selected to 71st Venice Film Festival in the Venice Classics section.
21 restored films were presented from all over the world, including 18 feature-length films and 3 short films.
Gelin will also be presented at BFI London Film Festival on October 2014.
